ATP VISION CS50 SUSPENSION CENTERSTAND
Bryan Ball of Bentrider Online commented (August 19, 2000): My favorite of these add-ons was the unique kickstand. Its a centerstand affair very similar to what you may see on a motorcycle. To deploy it you flip it down with your foot and then roll the bike back until it locks down. This lifts the entire rear end up off the ground and makes a pretty decent repair stand if youre just adjusting gears or brakes. The kickstand even includes a rubber stopper so that it doesnt make a huge clang when it folds back up. This is the same kickstand that comes with Visions Double-Vision tandems. Unfortunately, its rather bulky and quite heavy. Its also your only option as far as kickstands go any 50-series Vision and its benefits do outweigh its penalties. http://www.bentrideronline.com/?p=2573
Mike's Vision Recumbent R42 for sale July 2019, $500, below seat steering, short wheel-base. Bike was tuned up at Farmstead Bikes in Mpls (new tires/tubes, brake pads replaced, etc.), front suspension overhauled by Freewheel Bike on the Greenway, have all the parts to overhaul the seat suspension, but I removed it as it seemed unnecessary.
At least a couple of tandems came with this sort of kickstand, from Hostel Shoppe.
