R45
The R40 series bikes could all be had with either above seat steering (ASS), or under seat steering (USS). Also either short wheelbase (SWB) or long wheelbase (LWB). Later on, ATP shortened the LWB boom and called the result a medium wheelbase (MWB). The R40 and R42 used 2" wide frame tubing, while the R44 and R45 used thinner 1.75" main tubes. The R 42 and R45 included upgraded components. All of these bikes could be had with either a 16 or 20 inch front wheel, and there were suspension versions as well.

ATP also made rear-suspension versions of the R40 series bikes which were designated as "40s", "42s", "44s", and "45s", the "s" designating rear suspension.

First mention of the R45 in RCN No. 17, Sept - Oct 1993, from http://rcnpdf.com/No17-sepoct1993.pdf.

Here's a nice example of a 2004 R45 (click to enlarge images to 1000 pixels wide).
Note the straight main frame, Truvativ cranks and Deore rear derailleur.

Doug Kranz sold this rare white Vision last fall. Photos from October 25, 2018. Las Vegas, NV. Vision R45-SWB OSS. I have matching front rim as what is on it now, and a matching rear carbon fiber rim for the rear with a broken hub. Located in Las Vegas. Pedals on the bike will be switched to another set. This is a 3x9 speed.
